At Hastie Waste, we’ve got bins to suit just about any job. The bins are designed and built to handle the weight of whatever is put in them.
We currently hire four different sized skip bins, 3 cubic metres, 5 cubic metres, 8 cubic metres and a 9 cubic metre size.
What is the right Skip Bin Size for you?
3 Cubic Metre Bin (The Mini Skip)
Our 3m³ miniskip is approximately 1.8 Wide x 1 .3 high and 1.6m deep. If you’ve got a big job, get a bigger bin – not this one! We don’t think we can make that any clearer. For a quick clean, these guys are the go!
This size bin is equivalent to 12 regular wheelie bins.
5 Cubic Metre Bin
Our 5m³ bins are approximately 3.8 long x 1.3 wide x 1 .35 high and come with the option of a drop-down ramp that is really handy when you are loading up rubbish with a wheelbarrow.
Working on the basis that a 6 x 4 trailer can safely and legally carry one cubic metre, this works out to the equivalent of taking 5 trailer loads of rubbish to the tip.
8 Cubic Metre Bin
Our 8m³ Bins are approximately 4.0 Long x 1.6 Wide x 1 .55 high and come with the option of a drop down ramp that is really handy when you are loading up rubbish with a wheel barrow.
Working on the basis that a 6 x 4 trailer can safely and legally carry about one cubic metre, this works out to the equivalent of taking 8 trailer loads of rubbish to the tip.
